Sweet Home Bologna

Ciao from Bologna!

It’s day three and I’m loving this place already. We arrived early Monday morning after a long travel journey. We flew through Paris and I loved the 30 minutes I had with French accents, fashionable clothes and Laduree. On the plane to Bologna I had a delicious croissant and a cup of coffee with chocolate in it… a perfect welcome to Europe.

Flying into Italy was absolutely gorgeous. When we landed in Bologna it was an immediate small town feel. We exited the plane and were greeted by gorgeous weather. I’ve never been so excited to have been awake for over 24 hours and not be able to read signs. After dragging lots of luggage through the airport, we found a taxi and headed to campus. When we arrived our taxi driver, who did not speak much english said, “Welcome to your new home.”

After moving into our adorable Italian dorm room, we explored Bologna for the first time.

These three days have already gone by so fast! Tomorrow we leave for Greece for 10 days. Not bad having an orientation in Greece. Can’t wait to share my adventures!

Xoxo and Ciao for now,
